Serinda Swan lands major arc on 'Chicago Fire'

Graceland’s Serinda Swan has landed a significant multi-episode arc on Chicago Fire as a potential love interest for Taylor Kinney’s hunky firefighter, EW has learned.

The actress, whose credits also include Breakout Kings and Smallville, will play Brittany Baker, a graphic designer who crosses paths with Severide—who, lest we forget, is currently dating Chicago P.D.‘s Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush).

Sydney T. Poitier (Kendra) has been tapped for a five-episode arc on NBC’s upcoming Chicago Fire spinoff series Chicago PD with an option to become a regular. She will play a new detective, a role which will cross over on Chicago Fire. 

Poitier is with ICM Partners and Thruline Entertainment.

Mena Suvari has been cast in a recurring role

Mena Suvari has been cast in a recurring role on the NBC drama Chicago Fire. She will play Isabella, a close friend of Dawson (Monica Raymond) who is enlisted to help Mouch (Christian Stolte) with his campaign as President of the Chicago Firefighters Union. But although Mouch and Isabella have a strictly professional relationship, things heat up between Isabella and one of Mouch’s fellow firefighters.

The actress (True Blood, The Killing) has been cast on a multiple-episode arc on Chicago Fire Season 2.

Look for the veteran actress to come on board as Gail McLeod, a high-ranking consultant with the State Fire Marshal's Office. The character is in charge of budgetary issues and performance at the city's firehouses, as she'll have Firehouse 51 very much in her crosshairs.
